Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the First Pass Carpentry website and the services provided by our company. By accessing the website, requesting an estimate, scheduling work, approving a proposal, or accepting services, you agree to these Terms and any written proposal, work authorization, estimate, or project-specific terms provided for your work. If you do not agree, do not use the website or request services. These Terms are intended to establish general conditions; a signed proposal or written service agreement may contain additional or different terms for a particular project.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Our website is provided for informational, communication, and service-request purposes. You represent that information submitted to us is accurate, that you have authority to request work at the relevant property, and that you are legally able to enter into an agreement. If you act for a business, owner, landlord, association, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting revised terms on the website. Your continued use of the website or acceptance of services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Estimates, proposals, schedules, and communications may depend on site conditions, material availability, permits, measurements, utility information, weather, access, and information supplied by you. An estimate is not necessarily a fixed price or guarantee unless expressly identified in a written agreement. Work becomes authorized when you accept a proposal, authorize work electronically or in writing, pay a required deposit, or otherwise direct our team to proceed.

We may subcontract portions of a project while remaining responsible for reasonable coordination of the contracted work.
Schedules are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, emergencies, supplier delays, permit requirements, hidden conditions, unsafe conditions, client delays, and events beyond our reasonable control may change the schedule. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes and coordinate a practical revised plan.
3. User Responsibilities
You must provide safe and timely access to the property, accurate instructions, working utilities where required, parking or staging access when reasonably necessary, and a suitable area for materials and equipment. You must disclose known hazards, structural concerns, water intrusion, mold, asbestos, lead, pests, underground utilities, electrical problems, pets, security systems, and other conditions that could affect people, property, or the work. You must secure valuables and protect personal items before work begins and must keep children, pets, tenants, and unauthorized persons away from active work areas.
You are responsible for obtaining owner, landlord, association, tenant, or other required consent unless our written agreement expressly assigns that responsibility to us. You must review proposals, selections, measurements, and change requests promptly. Delays caused by missing information, inaccessible areas, unavailable approvals, or client-requested changes may result in additional charges. Do not direct our personnel to perform work outside the authorized scope without written approval. You must pay invoices and approved charges according to the applicable proposal or invoice terms.
4. Liability Limitations
